Cam, Kate and the team are committed to providing complete customer satisfaction through;
Cam, a qualified builder, and Kate, a banking customer services specialist, met in Queenstown NZ where Cam was building high-end residential homes and Kate was employed at ASB bank. They decided to head north when a business opportunity arose, meaning a positive lifestyle change and a chance to be closer to family.
In 2010 they founded Prestige Wood Finishers in partnership with Prestige Collision Repairs. It soon became apparent there was a gap in the market for quality kitchen painting and in 2013 they diversified into kitchen, glass and wood finishing.
They are now happily settled in Matangi, enjoying the rural life and being part of the local community. Kate is actively involved in Matangi primary school and is a member of the school board of trustees, and Cam coaches junior rugby, helping their boys out in the weekend.
In 2016, Prestige Wood Finishers rebranded to become Prestige Finishers. The business is rapidly growing and expanding, and Cam and Kate are constantly adopting new business methods and ways to stay on top of their game, with plans to move to a larger workshop in the pipeline.
